  A Pew Research Center report conducted on January 15th revealed that 35 percent of Americans (nearly 200 million people) use the Internet to learn about a health condition. Following this report, an independent survey by Vanguard Communications found that only one-third of physicians provide online health information to patients trying to learn about their conditions.
